Enrol with SMS

If your phone does not allow Microsoft Authenticator then you can set up an alternative of text message authentication.

When trying to log in you will be greeted with a Security Notice.
Click the Enrol for Multi-Factor Authentication link.

Set up a different method
Click on the I want to set up a different method link.

Add your phone number
From the drop down menu choose Phone as the method you would like to use.
On the next screen make sure United Kingdom +44 is selected then enter your mobile phone number.

Text Message
Microsoft will text a code to your mobile phone number.
Enter this code to complete your phone registration.

Complete
You have have successfully set up MFA when you see the SMS verified screen.
